URLReel Privacy Policy
How URLReel handles account data, product URLs, creative assets, and early-access usage information.
Last updated: 2026-08-04
Introduction
URLReel is an early-access product for planning and producing ecommerce video ads. This Privacy Policy explains what information may be collected when you visit the site, create an account, join early access, or use future product workflows.
The current public landing-page preview does not submit your product URL to a paid video-generation API.
Information We Collect
Depending on the features you use, we may collect:
- Account information. Your name, email address, sign-in details, and account preferences.
- Product inputs. Public product-page URLs, product images, clips, selling points, creative briefs, and reference media you choose to submit.
- Project records. Storyboards, scripts, shot plans, captions, render settings, review decisions, and exported files associated with your projects.
- Usage and device data. Browser type, device type, pages viewed, feature interactions, approximate location derived from an IP address, and diagnostic events.
- Cookies. Small files used for authentication, language, theme, security, and site analytics where enabled.
- Billing information. Payment details handled by an authorized payment processor if paid features are introduced. We do not intend to store full payment-card numbers on our servers.
How We Use Information
We may use information to:
- Operate, secure, and improve URLReel.
- Create the scripts, storyboards, media plans, and video outputs you request.
- Preserve project history and review decisions.
- Provide account, support, and service notices.
- Measure site performance and understand feature demand.
- Detect abuse, protect users, and comply with legal obligations.
Product URLs and Creative Assets
Only submit URLs and assets that you are authorized to use. A public URL may contain third-party content, trademarks, personal information, or claims that remain the responsibility of the page owner and the submitting user.
When generation features become available, selected inputs may be sent to configured AI, storage, voice, analytics, or rendering providers only as needed to perform the requested action. Provider-specific terms and retention practices may apply. We will update this policy when those production integrations are enabled for public users.
Data Sharing
We do not sell personal information. We may share limited data with:
- Infrastructure and service providers that help operate URLReel.
- AI or media processors selected to perform a user-requested generation task.
- Professional advisers or authorities when required by law.
- A successor organization in a merger, acquisition, or transfer of the service, subject to appropriate safeguards.
Retention and Deletion
We retain information only for as long as reasonably needed to provide the service, meet legal obligations, resolve disputes, and prevent abuse. Retention may vary by account, project, provider, and backup system. You may request access, correction, export, or deletion through available account or workspace support controls.
Security
We use reasonable technical and organizational safeguards appropriate to the stage of the service. No online system is completely secure, so you should keep local copies of important assets and avoid submitting confidential material that is not required for your project.
International Processing
Service providers may process information in countries other than your own. Where required, we will use appropriate contractual or legal safeguards for international transfers.
Children
URLReel is intended for business and professional users and is not directed to children. Do not submit personal information about a child unless you have a lawful basis and all required permissions.
Changes to This Policy
We may update this policy as URLReel moves from early access to production. The updated date above will change when revisions are published. Material changes may also be communicated through the service or by email.
Contact
Account holders can send questions or requests through the support controls in their URLReel workspace. A public support address will be added before production launch.
